Last June 1, 2018 the Warriors takes the lead against the Cavaliers. This is the game that the basketball world is eyeing for.  With the final score of 124 (Warriors) 114 (Cavaliers) warriors are now on the lead of the series.

The Cleveland Cavaliers gave everything they has just to prove that they can win the first game. However, the Golden State Warriors played very hard for the Cavaliers not to win.

Lebron James of the Cavaliers showed an incredible performance as he scored 51 points in just 48 minutes. He also contributed eights assists and rebounds. Even if Draymond Green of the Warriors poked his eye, James just endured it and brought his team back. James also used his enormous physical advantage on both ends of the court. On the other hand, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and Klay Thopmson form the Golden State scored over 20 with Draymond Green ends the game with a near triple-double.

Unfortunately, in the final seconds, with the score tied, J.R Smith got an offensive rebound of a missed free-throw by George Hill. The coach of Cavaliers thought that they were up one in frustration.

Coach Steve Kerr of the Golden State asked his team to think of a plan on how they could slow down James on going forward. He also said that they held back a lot of strategies that night while bursting in laughter. He also added that they’re going to shut the Cav’s down on the nest game.

Aside from James, Kevin Love also contributed 21 points and 14 rebounds to the team in his first game. On the other hand, Curry tied the game with a buzzer-beater of the first half. Also Green’s 13 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists, 5 steals, and two blocks helped their team. But James prove that he was not susceptible in exhaustion and seems to plague so many Golden State opponents in the second half.

The second game of the series will be on June 4, 2018 Monday at 8:00 in the morning (Philippines).
